Photoshop practice

I have created a draft DVD cover for a horror film using Photoshop. I have done this practice so that I can understand what will look the best. I have done a horror film cover as this is the hardest cover to do as it requires special effect visuals.

Experimentation with Photoshop

I have decided to become more familiar with the different types of editing software in order to get an understanding of which is the more effective for my paper based work for my project, for example the DVD cover and the film magazine front cover. Even though we do not have Photoshop on our computers I have decided I should get familiar if I am able to get some time on Photoshop. From this I have watched this tutorial on how to use Photoshop and so I can decide how to edit my covers.

Evaluation for someone else's Preliminary task.

Here I have created an evaluation of what should of been included in Rachel's and Mia's final preliminary task, I have used the template and then checked off what they have included and left the bullet points of things that they may not have done. I think this is helpful to progress in their work as they can now understand what they need to do in order to get a higher mark or make it look more professional. I think that I will do this for myself following this template to see if I can see any mistakes I have made or features I have not included.
